Quirky Ideas

Some quirky notions I find in our day-to-day life in India (however they may well be universal) -

If your car is stuck in traffic jam, frantic honking will activate the nitro boosters in the cars right ahead of you making them airborne eventually clearing your way

The speed of a lift is directly proportional to the amount of pressure applied on the button and the no. of times it's pressed.

Only time to go to the toilet is when the ‘fasten your seat belt’ sign is on.

The universally accepted and officially mandated practice to be alert and watchful while behind wheels is to use a cell phone while driving.

Talking aloud while on mobile phone does boost your signal strength.

It is absolutely safe to cycle in the middle of the road.

If the traffic signal is red, somebody has to take the initiative.

If you don't get right-of-way try squeeze your way through left.

While waiting your turn in a queue, you notice that the adjacent "ladies" queue is moving fast. If your wife's there, it is incumbent for you to join her in that queue.

If your queue is moving fast, its quite possible that you are in a wrong queue.

A bus has a will of its own. and where there is will there is a bus stop.

Let me know if you come across similar weird and eccentric public notions...........
